Other Bits of Information
Playground After School: There are many families who go to the playground after school with their children. This will increase once the warm weather shows up for spring. Please remember that children are expected to follow playground expectations that we use during the school day when on the playground after school. Children need to use the slides and other equipment safely (for example: not going down the slides head first or climbing on the outside of the slides), stay within the borders of the playground (not going in neighbors’ yards), keep hands and feet to themselves, and be respectful to others on the playground. Parents are responsible to monitor their children and are expected to make sure their children are following the expectations by being safe, respectful, and responsible.
Yearbooks: Our yearbooks are now on sale. Orders are being taken online. All of the information is attached below and a hard copy of the information is being sent home today.
Yearbook Boosters: It’s not too late to order a booster for the yearbook. A booster is a note to your child or teacher that is displayed in the yearbook. Information about these are also below.
Morning Drop Off: Thank you to the parents who have their children ready to get out of the vehicle on the passenger side, remain in their vehicles, have children get out wherever there is a sidewalk (doesn’t have to be right in front of the door), and pull all the way forward. If a grandparent, babysitter/nanny, or other adult that drops off your child, please make sure they know our procedures for dropping students off. By following these procedures, the line will move quickly and traffic on Sowams Rd. will not be held up as long.
