Day Without Hate: As a district, we will be participating in A Day Without Hate sponsored by the Chain Reaction Club at Barrington High School. It’s an opportunity for our community to come together to say we will not tolerate violence or hate in our schools and community. On Friday of this week, we are asking everyone to wear white as a sign of peace. Our students spent some time yesterday discussing this and making posters to signify peace and friendship. More information can be found here.

Other Bits of Information
Morning Drop Off: Please remember three things about our morning drop off. First, parents/those dropping off should not be getting out of the car. If you need to help your child out of the car, park your car in the lot. Second, as long as there is a sidewalk, your child can get out of the car. You do not need to drop your child off in front of the door. Third, pull your car all the way up to the windows of the school’s library. We need to get as many cars in the driveway as possible so we are not creating a traffic jam on Sowams Rd. Thank you for following these procedures.
Notes: If your child is not going home their normal way, you need to send a note in that morning. As mentioned various times this year, we cannot accept email notifications of absences, tardies, dismissals, and changes to how going home.
Visitors: All visitors must check in at the office when coming into the school. This includes before and after school as well during the school day.
