Other Bits of Information
Helping Hands Project: Throughout the year, our school participates in various Helping Hands projects. As a school, we want our students to realize there are others in this world who struggle and need assistance from us. This is the focus of our Helping Hands projects. Our first project is collecting food for Barrington’s Tap In. Each grade level has been assigned certain foods that we are collecting and will be donated to Tap In. All of the information is attached below.
Drop Off in the Morning: There are various people who drop off children in the morning. Please remind those people (grandparents, sitters, etc.) that children should get out of the car on the passenger side, adults should not be getting out of the car, and students can be dropped off where there is a sidewalk. (Children do not have to be dropped off in front of the door.)
Box Tops: This is an easy way to help our school: Collect Box Tops off of the many products that have them. Each unexpired Box Top is 10 cents for our PTO to spend toward our students. Please see the attached notice below about Box Tops.
Community Notices: Barrington Public Schools has a section on the website for community notices. All community notices can be found here.
