This week’s Backpack Express is ready for you to enjoy reading:
Yearbook Boosters: Do you want to put a message to your child and/or faculty/staff member in the yearbook? If so, you will want to purchase a Booster for the yearbook. Information on boosters may be found here. Boosters will be accepted until April 6, 2023.
Reading Week: Sowams will be celebrating Reading Week the week of April 3, 2023. Our faculty, staff, and parent volunteers have come up with an exciting plan with various activities throughout the week. To see what is planned for each day, click here for the list of activities.
Yearbook: The Sowams School Yearbook is now on sale. Orders are taken online only. Information about ordering a yearbook may be found here. Orders will be accepted until April 24, 2023. This year’s yearbook costs $21.
PTO Meeting: The next PTO meeting will be held Monday at 7:00 in the evening. This meeting will take place at Sowams.
Garden: Our school garden in the back of the building is going through a renovation. If you would like to help with this project, parents will be out there working on Thursday and Friday of this week. More information may be found here
Hot Lunch Menu: The April hot lunch menu may be found here.
Author Visit: We are excited for our upcoming author visit. On Friday, we welcome Juana Martinez-Neal to Sowams School.
PTO Calendar: The Sowams PTO has put together the April calendar. You may access it here.
Family Event: For those of you going to the Red Sox this weekend, hope you enjoy the game.
