Backpack Express

Good afternoon,

This week’s Backpack Express is ready for your reading pleasure.

  • Class Basket Raffle: Thanks to the Room Parents, you can visit this link to see photos and detailed descriptions of the class baskets! As a reminder, tickets and cash/checks should be returned to school by November 16, 2022. The classroom that sells the most tickets by this date will win a class prize to be determined by the teacher! If you need more tickets, please contact the school (kotsirisc@barringtonschools.org) . Basket winners will be pulled on November 21, 2022. Thank you for your support!

  • Book Fair:   Our fall book fair is coming up.  It will take place the week of October 31, 2022.  Students will visit the book fair with their classrooms on either Monday or Tuesday.  (See the next bulleted section for the schedule of class visits.) Children will also have the opportunity to visit during their recess times throughout the week.  On Thursday evening, November 3, 2022, there will be a family night from 5:30pm-7:00pm.  This is a time for the family to visit the fair.  Volunteers are needed throughout the week and for set-up and clean-up.  If you have submitted all of the paperwork to volunteer and are on the approved list, you are eligible to volunteer.  You may sign-up to volunteer here.

  • Class Visits to Book Fair:  Classes will visit the Book Fair on either Monday or Tuesday of next week.  If you would like to join your child, you may come during the class slot.
